Leeds climbed to fifth in the Championship table with a 2-1 win over the Millers.
Leeds United forward Souleymane Doukara has claimed that Kemar Roofe was one of the best players on the pitch during the Whites’ win over Rotherham on Saturday, BBC Radio Leeds reports.
Garry Monk’s men bounced back from their defeat to Newcastle last weekend by claiming a 2-1 victory over the Millers thanks to goals from Chris Wood and Doukara himself.

But on a testing evening which saw the home side give Leeds a good scare towards the end of the game, it was perhaps the performance of Roofe that may have given Monk the most encouragement.
The summer signing has struggled since his move to Elland Road and is still awaiting his first goal for the club, but he looked lively during the 73 minutes that he spent on the pitch.

And while Doukara suggested that every Leeds player did well, the 23-year-old was singled out for additional praise.
“I think that he was one of the best [on] the pitch. But everybody played well today,” he told BBC Radio Leeds.
After showing glimpses against Rotherham of the player whose form convinced the Whites to sign him in the summer, Monk will be hoping that Roofe can now kick on and make a greater impact during the hectic Christmas period to help Leeds consolidate their position inside the Championship’s top six.
