Will the real Tottenham Hotspur please stand up?
The mood around the Tottenham camp couldn’t be more positive after that quite incredible comeback win over Sheffield United on Saturday – it even left Paul Merson applauding their efforts.
Well, the good news keeps flowing in for the Spurs fans because it seems as though Bryan Gil, who hasn’t played a game this season through injury, could be back in action.
Gil was out on loan at Sevilla last season after falling out of favour under Antonio Conte, as he proceeded to win the Europa League with the Spanish giants.
But the all-action winger required surgery before the start of the new Premier League season to fix a problem with his groin.
Well, the 22-year-old took to his Instagram story on Monday with a one-word caption ‘soon’, as he is seen in his training gear and seemingly nearing a return to action.

Gil provides Tottenham with an injury update
Gil is way down the pecking order at Tottenham
With Spurs flying high, unbeaten after five games and heading into the north London derby against Arsenal full of confidence, it makes it tougher to now break into this Spurs side.
When Gil is back on the pitch, he will find that out because, whilst he can operate on both flanks, the likes of Richarlison, Dejan Kulusevski, Brennan Johnson, Manor Solomon, and Son Heung-min, depending on where he plays, are all in front of him.
Either way, it’s what Spurs fans want to hear because they are blowing away every side that is put in front of them this season and Gil will just beef up their bench.
