Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-min has praised Richarlison for his performance against Manchester United on Saturday night.
Richarlison may not have found the net against Manchester United but he impressed Tottenham Hotspur teammate Son Heung-min.
Tottenham had the first big win of the Ange Postecoglou era on Saturday evening as they beat Manchester United 2-0.
There were some slightly scary moments in the first half as Tottenham’s defending didn’t exactly look completely secure.
Spurs were by far the better team after the break though and took a deserved lead through Pape Matar Sarr’s finish.
A scruffy second sealed the win as Lisandro Martinez diverted a Ben Davies effort into his own net.
Tottenham were well worth the three points, playing some beautiful football and creating plenty of chances.
Postecoglou will be delighted to have conjured up his first major win as Tottenham manager and will now hope to build from there.

Son Heung-min praises Tottenham striker Richarlison
This didn’t really look like Richarlison’s best game in a Tottenham shirt.
The Brazilian is still adjusting to life as Tottenham’s new first-choice centre forward following Harry Kane’s move to Bayern Munich.
Richarlison didn’t have a shot on target against United and was dispossessed four times, completing just nine passes.
However, the £60million signing from Everton last summer has now been praised by teammate Son Heung-min.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the final whistle, (19/08, 7:45pm), Son stated that he felt Richarlison played ‘really, really well’ against the United back line.
Son feels that Richarlison leads the line well and holds the ball up, maybe doing some of the dirt work which can go unnoticed.
“I think Richy played really, really well, he holds up the ball,” said Son.
Son was asked whether he would prefer to play up front but he shut that down fairly quickly by showing support to his teammate.
Richarlison will want some goals soon enough but appreciation from his captain Son will go a long way.
