Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-min has commented on Brennan Johnson completing his move to North London in recent days.
Son Heung-min believes Brennan Johnson can help Tottenham Hotspur play even better football in the final third.
The Spurs captain has been speaking to the press ahead of his South Korea side taking on Wales on Thursday night.
That meeting means that Son will be going up against Wales forward Johnson, who completed a move to Tottenham last week.
Spurs forked out a hefty £47.5million deal to sign Johnson and just about beat the deadline to get him signed up.
Son will now have even more support in the final third and, as captured by Sky Sports, he has had his say on Johnson.
The Spurs star believes that Johnson wants to go the next step in his career and will feel the pressure in terms of trying to fill the void left by Harry Kane.
Son noted that Johnson will likely help Tottenham play ‘better fast football’ under Ange Postecoglou with the Welshman providing serious speed in attack.
“With the new signing, probably you guys want to hear about him!” said Son. “I think when he comes to Spurs, he wants to improve, he wants to go to the next step, so I think he will feel the pressure as well but we can’t wait to have our team, playing even better football, better attacking, better fast football,” he added.

Postecoglou wanted Brennan Johnson
It can be hard to tell these days whether a manager is driving a signing, or whether it’s coming from above them.
The signing of Johnson was certainly a Postecoglou decision though.
The Telegraph report that Postecoglou made Johnson his absolute top target following Harry Kane’s move to Bayern Munich.
Postecoglou wanted to add Johnson’s blistering pace to the Tottenham side and really pushed Spurs to make the deal happen.
Here we are; Johnson is a Tottenham player and fans likely can’t wait to see him in action.

How Son and Johnson can play together
One key factor with the move for Johnson is that he has exceptional versatility across the attack.
We could see Son play up top with Johnson offering support from the right or left, which seems quite likely after Son’s showing against Burnley.
Son could play from the left with Johnson on the right, or we may even see Johnson pushed through the middle to cause mayhem in behind.
This is a hugely exciting prospect and Son seemingly realises that Tottenham could play even better football in Postecoglou’s style with Johnson on board.
