Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min has told talkSPORT that it’s ‘unbelievable’ to be working under head coach Mauricio Pochettino.

South Korean star Son is in blistering form right now, as his goal in the 2-0 midweek win over Brighton and Hove Albion means it’s now six goals and one assist in his last eight games in all competitions.

Whilst Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and Harry Kane have grabbed all the headlines in the Tottenham attack, Son has flown somewhat under the radar since his 2015 move from Bayer Leverkusen.

The 25-year-old hit 21 goals in all competitions last season, and is on his way to that tally this term with another stellar campaign, flourishing as a versatile attacking threat under Pochettino.

Son will be looking to feature against Manchester City this weekend, and ahead of that game, Son has spoken to talkSPORT about working under head coach Pochettino’s guidance.

Son has admitted that it’s ‘unbelievable’ working under Pochettino, and he feels that he improves every second of every day thanks to the Argentinian’s work.

The wide man added that Pochettino tried to sign him three times, including at Southampton when Son went to Bayer Leverkusen in 2013, but he is glad they are finally working together.

“Unbelievable, unbelievable,” said Son. “He was at Southampton and wanted me when I was at Hamburg, and then I changed to Leverkusen, and he changed to Spurs and he wanted him. He asked three times, and then I finally joined him, and I’m really happy to work with him. He gives me a lot of things; I’m better now over the last two years, because of him, and I improve every day, every second because of him,” he added.
