Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min has spoken to Celtic striker Oh Hyeon-gyu about new boss Ange Postecoglou.
Celtic ace Oh Hyeon-gyu has admitted speaking to Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-min about Ange Postecoglou.
Celtic were rocked last week as manager Postecoglou chose to leave the club to take over at Tottenham Hotspur.
The Bhoys appointed Postecoglou in 2021, plucking him from Japanese side Yokohama F. Marinos.
That move seemed very left-field at the time but Postecoglou proved his doubters wrong, winning the league title.
The Australian repeated the trick this past season and even won a treble before deciding to move on to Spain.
Postecoglou’s recruitment from the Asian market has been important since his move to Celtic and much of the focus has been on Japanese additions.
Postecoglou did look to South Korea as well though, landing striker Oh Hyeon-gyu from Suwon Samsung Bluewings in January.
The 22-year-old knows Son Heung-min from the South Korea national team setup and has passed on some information about Postecoglou.

Oh Hyeon-gyu opens up on Son Heung-min conversation
Celtic striker Oh is currently in the South Korea squad alongside Son for games against Peru and El Salvador over the next week.
We would have expected Son to ask Oh a few questions about Postecoglou and it seems that the conversations have already happened.
Oh has been speaking to Korean football writer Steve Han about his chats with Son.
Oh suggested that Son came to him and asked questions about Postecoglou’s style of play and what is important to him as a coach.

Centre forward Oh only spent a few months with Postecoglou but calls him ‘tactically exceptional’.
Oh predicted that Postecoglou will succeed at Tottenham and has seemingly told Son big things about the new Spurs boss.
“He asked me about Ange’s style—what he emphasises, his style of play. I’ve only played for Ange for half a year, but I already know that he’s tactically exceptional. I believe he’ll succeed,” said Oh.
Postecoglou must prove himself all over again with doubters now questioning his ability to manage in the Premier League.
Oh clearly thinks that Tottenham have nothing to worry about and Son should be excited with his verdict ahead of working under the Australian.
