Son Heung-Min’s form this season has proven that he has everything necessary to become a world class player at White Hart Lane.

The 23-year-old forward has looked like a changed man so far this campaign, contributing heavily towards Tottenham Hotspur’s strong start in the Premier League. Whether it’s his goals or chipping in all over the pitch, Son looks like a man on a mission and if he continues his current trajectory he can transform into a world class player.

The South Korean’s precision and vision on the pitch far exceeds what he had produced prior to this season, and he seems to be thriving under Mauricio Pochettino. But interestingly, it’s not just his skill in front of goal that has been capturing the public’s eye.

His quick recovery from an ankle injury coupled with his new found tenacity on the pitch shows that Son is much more than a utility player.

The forward is starting to develop that toughness necessary to succeed as a top level striker in the Premier League, and being surrounded by so many strong players in the Spurs set-up will certainly be helping with that.

Son could easily sit on the bench and half-heartedly collect his wages every week, but he wants to thrive and improve at White Hart Lane which is such a rare commodity when you couple it with his natural flair and ability.

If Spurs are going to make a serious surge for the top four this year, then this man could be the key.
