Spurs ace Son Heung-min spoke exclusively to popular football news website Football.London, and shared how he still misses his best friend Kevin Wimmer, after squaring off against the Stoke City man on Saturday.

Mark Hughes’ men have been woeful defensively this season, conceding 35 goals – the most in the division, and unfortunately for the Austrian, he has taken a lot of the blame, due to the large price-tag that accompanied him to the BET 365 Stadium.

And Son explained why he feels sorry for Wimmer, when speaking exclusively to popular football news website Football.London, sharing how the Stoke man is still his best friend:

Kevin Wimmer of Spurs in action during the Premier League match between Watford and Tottenham Hotspur at Vicarage Road on January 1, 2017 in Watford, England.

“Of course, I’m really sorry for him because we won 5-1. But he’s still my best friend,” he said. “I miss him a lot and it was good to see him on the pitch. I was really, really happy to see him again.”

Next up for Spurs and Son is a home game against Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League on Wednesday night, and nothing less than a win will do, as they look to keep the pressure up on those above them in the table.
