The West Ham United starlet has really risen to prominence this season.

West Ham ace Grady Diangana spoke exclusively to the Guardian about his recent rise to prominence, and admitted that it has been ‘amazing’ for him to be surrounded by so many good players at the club.
The Hammers have made an extremely inconsistent start to their Premier League campaign, but Diangana’s performances have been a real bright spark in what has otherwise been a totally underwhelming season so far.
The 20-year-old has made seven appearances in all competitions, and he has a real opportunity to make the right wing position his own this season, with Andriy Yarmolenko ruled out for another five months.
Diangana spoke exclusively to the Guardian, and spoke highly of the quality of the players currently present at West Ham, highlighting how they have helped him settle in at senior level:

“We’re a close unit. You’ve got different languages, but everyone still gets along very well. It’s a very good group. They’ve been nice to me. Sometimes in the changing room they take the mickey, maybe. But to be in and around them is amazing. They do special things with the ball and you’re like: ‘Wow, I’d like to do that.’ I’m always learning every day, so it’s good.”
Next up for West Ham is a home game against Manchester City on Saturday, and Diangana will be hoping for another chance to prove that he has what it takes to cut it at the very highest level.
