Liverpool fans are becoming frustrated with the lack of updates of Thiago’s progress, as he looks to come back from injury.
Thiago has seemingly been on the verge of recovering for some time now, but the Spaniard is yet to make his full return for Liverpool.
Thiago has, instead, continued to be on the sidelines and there is a lack of clarity over when he is due back.
Indeed, in his press conference yesterday, which was broadcast on Liverpool’s official website, Klopp said: “No news [on Thiago]. We will see. I don’t want to speak too much about it because I have no idea who Atalanta can bring so why should we give any information?”
The answer has not gone down well with many Liverpool supporters, who are now becoming concerned about their summer signing.
Klopp has continued to bat away questions over when Thiago will return, and there are worries that the issue is more long-term than the club is letting on.
If Thiago does continue to be out for weeks then it will be a blow for Liverpool, but they have coped well in his absence so far.
Their highest profile recruit has barely been able to show his talents at Anfield yet, but Liverpool are still currently sat near the top of the Premier League table and are making good progress in Europe.
