Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to discuss Adam Forshaw, after Gaetano Berardi made his comeback from injury in the Under-23’s defeat to Crystal Palace.

The Switzerland international has been out of action since last season’s 3-1 win over Derby.

In heartbreaking fashion, Berardi suffered an anterior cruciate ligament tear with just one game left of the Championship season.

He has missed a large period, but thankfully, the defender is nearing a return to full fitness.

However, his return has raised questions over the whereabouts of Forshaw.

The 29-year-old hasn’t played for Leeds since a 1-0 loss against Charlton in September 2019, as he’s been struggling with a hip injury.

There have been very few updates on his progress from the club.

The Athletic’s Phil Hay gave the most recent update, when revealing that Forshaw has been struggling to overcome the last hurdle for some time now.

It’s been a year-and-a-half since his last outing, and supporters have every right to express their concern following Berardi’s comeback.

It really is a mystery, one that is intensified by the club’s lack of updates.

Hopefully, the former Middlesbrough man can make a return at some point this season, although it feels unlikely.

Let’s see what the Leeds fans on Twitter have been saying about Forshaw…
