Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to react after the Daily Record revealed that Vincent Angelini is waiting for permission to train with Brighton.

The Premier League side are keen to give the 17-year-old a chance to win a move to England’s top-flight, and are waiting for Celtic to give the green light.

Angelini’s contract at Celtic Park expires in the summer, and he looks set to leave Glasgow after rejecting a new deal.

The Daily Record add that Manchester United, Juventus, AC Milan and Lazio have all expressed an interest in signing the teenager as well.

Brighton will wait until Angelini trains with them, before discussions over a compensation fee begin with Celtic.

Now, this is very disappointing news for the Bhoys.

It’s worrying that a highly-rated young prospect sees no future for himself at the club.

This will also send out a message to Celtic’s other exciting youngsters, who will potentially question their own future after seeing Angelini make his decision.

The Hoops are rudderless, and need someone to steady the ship and steer it in the right direction as soon as possible.

Let’s see what the Celtic fans on Twitter have been saying…
