The West Bromwich Albion manager is determined to strengthen his options this month.
Baggies boss Alan Pardew addressed the media in the aftermath of his side’s hard-fought 1-1 draw with Arsenal in the Premier League yesterday, and insisted that he absolutely must strengthen his options at the Hawthorns this month, as quoted by the Express & Star.
West Brom are currently in a whole world of trouble, and sit precariously in 19th position in the Premier League table, three points adrift of safety, having not won a Premier League game since August 19th.
The main problem for the 56-year-old is that he isn’t exactly heavily armed with cash with which to bolster his ranks, and he will most probably have to sell in order to fund a spending spree of his own.

Pardew spoke to reporters, and expressed his desire to freshen things up at West Brom, highlighting how he wants to change the dynamic in the dressing room at the Hawthorns, as quoted by the Express & Star:
“We’ve got to do something in the window. When I look the history of teams in this position, when you look at teams with seven wins in a calendar year, it’s telling you something. “We’ve got to move something around if we can. It’s not always possible, as you know, money’s tight. I’ve brought players in, not big signings, before but they can change the dynamic of the dressing room.”
Any talk of potential transfers at West Brom will have to be put on hold for a couple of days, however.
Next up on the agenda for Pardew and co is a trip to the London Stadium to take on West Ham, and a win will be of absolute paramount importance to their hopes on avoiding relegation this season.
