Some of Leeds United’s key players seem to be closing in on a return to the first-team.

Leeds have had to make do without some of their key men through injury this season, but there might just be some good news on the horizon.
The Whites’ developmental side played host to Bolton Wanderers’ under-23 team, and three of their long-term absentees played the first 45 minutes of the game.
Gaetano Berardi, Stuart Dallas and Izzy Brown all started the match for Leeds’ under 23’s, before being substituted during the half-time break.
The 30-year-old defender has not played since October due to continued problems with his hamstring, whilst the Northern Irish ace has been absent since December 1st with an ankle issue.
Chelsea loanee Brown, meanwhile, is still yet to make an appearance for Leeds’ senior team.

The west Yorkshire outfit currently sit in third spot in the Championship table, two points adrift of league leaders Norwich City, but they do have a game in hand over the Canaries.
And having three players with the quality of Berardi, Dallas and Brown back and available for selection for the final third of the season will be an absolutely huge boost for Leeds.
