A number of Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have been discussing the reports linking Joe Bryan with a potential Molineux switch.

A number of Wolves fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the reports emerging from the Bristol Post this week which suggested that Nuno Espirito Santo’s men have become the latest side to take a look at Bristol City star Joe Bryan.

Bryan enjoyed a superb year with the Robins last season, scoring a number of goals and providing a handful of assists as Lee Johnson’s men often threatened to push for a play-off spot in the Championship. They, of course, also reached the semi-finals of the League Cup, and Bryan was a key part of their side on that run.

It appears however, that he is on the way out of the club this summer. The Bristol Post reports that his contract expires next year and he is unlikely to sign a new deal, prompting City to seemingly put the defender in the shop window, albeit reluctantly, asking for £6 million.

There is already a queue of sides forming to try and prise Bryan away from Ashton Gate. The Bristol Post reports that Newcastle United are leading the charge, while Leeds and Middlesbrough are also keen on luring him away from their second tier rival.

And the report has named Wolves as another side that is keen as Nuno looks to strengthen his options ahead of their return to the top flight. Interestingly, the reaction to the reports has been somewhat mixed.

There are those who feel that Bryan would be an unnecessary signing given the depth that Wolves already boast on the left-hand side, while others believe that he could be an excellent addition when you consider his form over the last 12 months.
