
Some Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have been raving about reported Celtic target Daniel Podence on Twitter following his performance against Everton.
Podence, who has recently been linked with Scottish Premiership giants Celtic, was in action for Wolves in their Premier League game against Everton at the Molineux Stadium on Sunday.
The 24-year-old winger started the match and played for 70 minutes, as Nuno’s side won 3-0 to maintain their chances of finishing in the Champions League places this season.
According to WhoScored, the former Portugal Under-21 international took three shots of which two were on target, played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 74.2%, took 48 touches, attempted four dribbles, and put in two crosses.
The Mirror reported at the weekend that Celtic are interested in signing the winger on loan for the 2020-21 campaign and have already made an enquiry.
The winger joined the Wanderers from Greek giants Olympiakos only in the January transfer window.
