Wolverhampton Wanderers fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for Shanghai SIPG winger Wu Lei.

According to The Express & Star, Wolves – who will play in the Premier League next season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship – are interested in signing Wu from Chinese club Shanghai SIPG in the summer transfer window.

The winger is a legend at Shanghai SIPG – the 26-year-old China international is the club’s record goalscorer with 155 goals and has made the most appearances for them, with 328 matches to his name, as reported by The Express & Star.

Wolves have been quite busy in the summer transfer window, as they prepare for life in the Premier League.

The Wanderers have signed Jonny, Raul Jimenez and Joao Moutinho, and they have also made loan deals for Willy Boly and Leo Bonatini permanent.
