West Ham claimed a 2-0 win over UEFA Champions League side Atalanta in their final friendly of pre-season.

Goals from Michail Antonio and Pablo Fornals sealed an impressive result for the east London side as David Moyes’ side are shaping up well ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.

With West Ham competing in Europe, facing off a side as big as Atalanta was a good test for the Irons. And the Premier League side impressed on the day.

Newcastle United beckons for West Ham next weekend in their Premier League opener. And the Hammers will also discover their UEFA Europa League group later on this month.

Indeed, big things are afoot for West Ham this season, and this win against the Serie A side further cemented that excitement. And for Said Benraham, it could be a season to remember for the winger.

The 2020 summer signing from Brentford was once again fantastic for the Irons. Furthermore, West Ham named Benraham the Man of the Match against Atalanta on their official Twitter account.

The attacker impressed in patches last campaign for West Ham. But in pre-season, the Algerian international has been one of the club’s best performing players.

Moreover, on social media, West Ham fans couldn’t believe how impressive Benrahma was for Moyes’ side against Atalanta.
