The West Ham United youngster has come of age this season.

According to a report from the Sun, Manchester City are lining up a £50 million move for West Ham ace Declan Rice, as they continue their search for a long-term successor to Brazilian midfield star Fernandinho, and some Hammers fans took to Twitter in response to the news.
The 19-year-old has been quite simply sensational for the Hammers this season, making 22 appearances in all competitions, and he is now considered to be one of the first names on Manuel Pellegrini’s team-sheet.

Rice recently signed a new deal with West Ham – one that runs until the summer of 2024, but that has seemingly not put off Manchester City, with the Sun claiming that Pep Guardiola is determined to sign the talented teen starlet.
Pellegrini will surely be desperate to keep hold of the defensive midfielder, however, given the fact that he has established himself as such a vital component of the West Ham first-team.
