Snodgrass, who spent the 2017-18 season on loan at Aston Villa in the Championship, featured for West Ham in their pre-season friendly match against Preston on Saturday afternoon.
The former Leeds United and Norwich City striker started the game and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Manuel Pellegrini’s side drew 2-2.

However, with a new manager in charge, the 30-year-old Scotland international winger – who earns £40,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – could get a new chance at the London Stadium.
A loan move back to Villa in the Championship for the 2018-19 campaign would not be a bad idea for Snodgrass.
