A number of West Ham fans are excited by the links with Uruguay international Diego Laxalt.

A number of West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports emerging from Tuttomercatoweb earlier this week which suggested that the Hammers are eyeing a move for Uruguay international Diego Laxalt.
The Irons have enjoyed a fantastic summer so far. The appointment of Manuel Pellegrini has been followed by a raft of signings, including a club-record deal to sign Felipe Anderson.
It does appear that many supporters of some of their Premier League rivals are somewhat envious with the amount of business that they have done so far. And it appears that the Hammers may not be done yet.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, West Ham are interested in signing Genoa star Laxalt, who has followed up a promising season in Serie A with a hugely impressive run of displays in the World Cup as he helped his country reach the quarter-finals in Russia.

Tuttomercatoweb suggests that the 25-year-old will cost around £17.7 million and it appears that many of the West Ham fans are now urging Pellegrini to do all he can to make sure that they take advantage of the opportunity and get Laxalt to the London Stadium this summer.
Laxalt would be a versatile signing who could improve the Hammers’ options all the way down the left flank. He seems to be capable of making an impact in either final third, and a number of West Ham fans are hoping that the club make the wide-man their latest addition in what has already been a fantastic window for the club.

Here is what some of the West Ham supporters made of the reports…
