West Ham fans have reacted to Michail Antonio’s Twitter message after they secured Europa League football on Sunday.

In his own typical fashion, the non-stop action forward urged the West Ham supporters to ‘get your passports ready’ because they are heading to Europe.

And he accompanied the post with pictures of several West Ham players – himself included, Thomas Soucek, Pablo Fornals, Declan Rice and Jesse Lingard in various hotspots around Europe.

Given that Antonio included Lingard in that picture, it has got a lot of West Ham fans talking as to whether the Manchester United star will be in East London next season.

Lingard has been one of the outstanding performers in the Premier League since his loan switch to the London Stadium, but he is due back at Old Trafford now.

And given the effect he has had on those in Claret and Blue then there’s no doubt that they would want him signed up again.

There’s no reason why Lingard wouldn’t want to return to West Ham if he has no future at Old Trafford, but have his recent clutter of goals changed the minds of those making the big decisions at Manchester United?

Not only that, this is the chance for the West Ham board, who have come under criticism from supporters in recent years, to showcase their ambition and put serious money on the table for Lingard’s talents.

Here is a selection of West Ham fans reacting to Antonio’s tweet:
