
Some West Ham fans on social media are far from happy with David Ornstein’s update on their pursuit of Youssef En-Nesyri.
The Hammers had been linked with a move for the Sevilla striker, but it seems as though they won’t be landing their man this month, with Ornstein reporting that their pursuit of him is now all but over after they had an offer rejected.
Ornstein says that West Ham will now pursue other options, but the fanbase are far from happy with the club’s failure to secure En-Nesyri’s signature.
Sadly, there wasn’t much of a sense of shock amongst the fanbase as the supporters have seemingly grown used to seeing the club fail to land their top targets and have to settle for second-rate options, especially in the striker position.
West Ham of course have plenty of money to spend after selling Sebastien Haller to Ajax, but with just over a week of the transfer window to go, they don’t have much time to secure a striker signing.
It seems as though En-Nesyri won’t be coming, and that has left supporters gutted.
