Dwight Gayle signed for West Brom from Newcastle just 24 hours before his debut.

Dwight Gayle made a positive first impression on West Bromwich Albion fans after making his debut for the Baggies.
Gayle came on as a substitute in a 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest, playing the final half an hour.
It was just 24 hours after he signed from Newcastle United on a season long loan, as part of a swap deal with Salomon Rondon.
Gayle scored at a prolific rate for Newcastle in the Championship in 2016/17 and West Brom are hoping to get the same out of him.
Last night he did not score, but he helped lift the team after they had just conceded an opener to Nottingham Forest.

West Brom went on to claim a draw through a late equaliser from Matty Phillips.
Gayle’s performance should have been enough to put himself in line to start this weekend away at Norwich City.
