West Bromwich Albion reportedly rejected Watford’s loan offer for Craig Dawson in the final hours of the transfer window.

A number of West Brom fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the reports emerging from Sky Sports on Wednesday that Watford have seen a loan bid for Craig Dawson rejected.
Dawson has been heavily linked with The Hawthorns exit this summer following the Baggies’ relegation from the Premier League. Sky Sports reports that both Burnley and West Ham have tried to sign him, and he has handed in a transfer request to try and force through a move.
And Sky Sports reports that Dawson has now found himself on the Hornets’ radar, and they have made an initial loan bid for the 28-year-old, which has already been rejected by the Baggies.

Sky Sports adds that West Brom want at least £20 million for Dawson, so it should come as little surprise that the Baggies have rejected Watford’s offer. And it appears that the large majority of the West Brom supporters are delighted with the decision to reject the bid.
Many of the fans have described the bid as laughable, and have suggested that Watford must be having a laugh if they think that the Championship side would be tempted by such an offer.
