West Bromwich Albion have made Kyle Bartley their second signing of the summer with the centre-back joining from their Championship rivals.

A number of West Brom fans have taken to Twitter to laud the Baggies after it was confirmed on the club’s official website that they have signed defender Kyle Bartley from Swansea City on a three-year deal.
Bartley’s future has been the subject of speculation for several weeks now with a number of clubs within the Championship linked with a potential move for the 27-year-old.
However, the Baggies have jumped to the front of the queue and got a deal across the line, making the former Leeds United loanee the club’s second signing of the summer, following the deal to sign Sam Johnstone from Manchester United. Jonathan Bond has since taken the number of additions to three.
The news has unsurprisingly been met with a hugely positive reaction on social media. Bartley may have endured a difficult final season with the Swans, but he was superb during his loan spell at Elland Road and many Whites supporters would have been hoping to see him return this summer.

He nearly led the club into the Championship play-off places and Moore will be hoping that he can go one step further during his first year at The Hawthorns, especially now that Jonny Evans has left and question marks seem to linger over some of the other players within the squad.
The large majority of West Brom fans appear to believe that the deal is a fantastic piece of business from the Baggies, and they are hoping that Bartley will be followed by several more signings before the new season kicks off next month.
