A number of West Bromwich Albion fans are already delighted with the club’s acquisition of Harvey Barnes.

A number of West Brom fans have taken to Twitter to laud Harvey Barnes after watching the youngster’s performance during the Baggies’ pre-season clash with Coventry City on Saturday.
The midfielder completed his loan move to The Hawthorns earlier this week and Darren Moore handed him the chance to make his debut in the inaugural Regis Shield contest against the Sky Blues.
And it was largely thanks to Barnes’ lightning start that the Championship side got their hands on the shield come the end of the game. The Leicester City-owned 20-year-old scored twice inside the first eight minutes.
The former Barnsley loanee would also provide an assist as Hal Robson-Kanu also bagged a brace to help West Brom on their way to a 5-2 victory. Jake Livermore scored the home side’s other goal.

It is safe to say that Barnes’ opening performance for the club left a number of West Brom supporters feeling extremely excited about what he could go on and achieve during the coming season.
He clearly has bags of talent and potential, and some already feel that selling James McClean and replacing him with Barnes is going to prove to be a masterstroke from the Baggies.
