The sacked Brighton and Hove Albion manager is wanted by several of a West Bromwich Albion persuasion.

Some West Bromwich Albion fans are keen to take advantage of Brighton’s decision to sack Chris Hughton.
Hughton, the manager who oversaw Brighton’s transformation from a side battling relegation from the Championship to one established in the Premier League, was relieved of his duties on Monday morning, less than 24 hours after the Seagulls’ final league game.
And the 60-year-old may soon find himself linked with West Brom, who remain without a permanent boss after dismissing Darren Moore in March.
It seems he would be a welcome addition at the Hawthorns – where the Baggies face Aston Villa in the second leg of their Championship play-off semi-final on Tuesday.
Hughton previously led Newcastle United into the Premier League at the start of the decade – ahead of second-placed West Brom – and later took Birmingham City to the Championship play-offs before spells at Norwich City and Brighton.
The Baggies’ first-team coach, James Shan, has remained in temporary charge at the Hawthorns – winning six of his 11 games so far.

Could Hughton be the next West Brom boss?
