Villa’s latest Twitter injury update did not mention the on-loan Manchester United man, 21, which has concerned some supporters.

Ahead of Aston Villa’s Championship game against Sheffield United on Friday night, managed Dean Smith conducted his pre-match press conference on Thursday afternoon.
Following the presser, footage from which is available on Villa’s official YouTube channel, the club’s Twitter account also posted a graphic which provided an injury update on several players ahead of the big game.
Jack Grealish has resumed light training but is still some time away from a return and as such has been deemed “definitely out” alongside Henri Lansbury, while James Chester is 50/50 against the Blades and Andre Green is in contention.
Some fans reacted to the tweet by asking about Manchester United’s on-loan defender Axel Tuanzebe, who is also out injured but with few updates on his recovery for a number of weeks now.
Given Smith elaborated on fellow long-term absentee Lansbury’s injury – he “isn’t quite there yet so he’s still with the medical staff. I haven’t got a time-frame on him” (Birmingham Mail) – but not Tuanzebe, there was speculation as to whether he would feature for Villa again this season.
Here is how some Villa supporters reacted to the Twitter graphic:
Tuanzebe, 21, has made 19 appearances in the Championship for Villa so far this season, providing one assist in the process, according to Whoscored.
