Everton are yet to delve into the transfer market this summer.

Everton have been very, very quiet in the transfer market this summer, and it’s fair to say that fans are getting a little restless ahead of the new Premier League season.
The Toffees have yet to bring in a single signing this summer, despite the fact that new manager Marco Silva certainly needs additions to his side having inherited a squad lacking real balance.
Silva has inherited a plethora of central midfielders, yet he has just one left back of Premier League qualify and even he is ageing now, as well as a lack of pace in attack outside of Theo Walcott.
New director of football Marcel Brands has been brought in to right the wrongs of predecessor Steve Walsh, but he has yet to make even one signing to boost Silva’s first team.
It’s fair to say that Everton do need to shed some deadwood before they can bring in major reinforcements. Wayne Rooney and Ramiro Funes Mori have already moved on, but many more players need to be offloaded.
The likes of Maarten Stekelenburg, Ashley Williams, Davy Klaassen, James McCartthy, Muhamed Besic, Mason Holgate, Brendan Galloway, Shani Tarashaj and Tyias Browning could be offloaded, as Everton look to trim numbers.

That may be why Everton have yet to make a new signing, but that hasn’t stopped frustrated fans from sending messages to the club on Twitter demanding new additions quickly.
With a left back, a central midfielder and a left winger certainly needed before the start of the season, fans are begging for news on additions – but may be facing an even longer wait as clubs bide their time on deals.
