Marcus Edwards was in action for the Tottenham Hotspur Under-23 side on Monday.

Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Marcus Edwards for the Under-23 side against their Enfield Town counterparts.
Edwards was in action for the Tottenham Under-23 team against Enfield Town on Monday evening.
The 19-year-old played well and scored both the penalties in their 2-1 victory, impressing Tottenham fans, as shown in the following posts on Twitter below.

What does the future hold for Marcus Edwards?
Edwards is only 19 years of age and is still developing as a footballer, and there is no doubt that the England Under-20 international midfielder is hugely talented.
The youngster loan spell at Norwich City during the second half of the 2017-18 campaign did not go well, as he played just six minutes in the Championship for the Canaries before returning early to Tottenham, according to WhoScored.
Given the competition for places in the Tottenham midfield, it is hard to see the teenager break into Mauricio Pochettino’s team next season, and perhaps the North London outfit should look at loaning him out again to a club in the Championship.
