Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking Harry Winks with Manchester City.
According to The Sun, City are interested in signing Winks from Premier League rivals Tottenham in the summer transfer window.
The report in the British tabloid has claimed that City manager Pep Guardiola admires the England international midfielder and wants his club to make a bid of £40 million for the 24-year-old midfielder.
Winks has been on the books of Spurs his entire professional club football career and is an important player in the team.
According to WhoScored, the 24-year-old made 26 starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League for Spurs this past season.
The Englishman also played five times in the Champions League and featured in five FA Cup games for Spurs in 2019-20, according to WhoScored.
Winks is a very good and classy midfielder who would suit the way City play under Guardiola, but it is hard to see Spurs sanction a move to the Citizens.
