Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the club’s decision to hand Oliver Skipp a new contract.
As announced on Tottenham’s official website, Skipp has signed a new contract with the North London outfit which will see him stay at the club until 2024.
The 19-year-old midfielder has made a handful of appearances for the Spurs first team.
However, the England Under-21 international has been progressing well in the youth side, and it is clear that he has a bright future ahead of him.

Going out on loan next season?
Skipp is a promising young talent and does have a long-term future at Tottenham.
However, it is hard to see the 19-year-old feature heavily in the Spurs first team next season.
It would make sense for the teenager to go out on loan to a top-end club in the Championship or to another side in the Premier League for the 2020-21 campaign.
