Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter were impressed with the combination between Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele on Wednesday evening.
Tottenham got the better of Lokomotiv Plovdiv 2-1 away from home in the Europa League Qualifying Second Round.
France international midfielder Ndombele came on as a substitute on 61 minutes and scored what proved to be the winning goal on 85 minutes.
Argentina international midfielder Lo Celso started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes.
According to WhoScored, Ndombele took one shot which ended in goal, had a pass accuracy of 100%, took 31 touches, and made one tackle.
Lo Celso took one shot which was not on target, played three key passes, had a pass accuracy of 80.3%, took 84 touches, attempted two dribbles, and made one interception, according to WhoScored.
The two midfielders combined well in the final 30 minutes of the match, and it looks like that they could form a good partnership going forward.
Some Tottenham fans were impressed with the connection that Lo Celso and Ndombele showed in the final 30 or so minutes, and believe that it could be massive for the team this season.
