Some Tottenham Hotspur fans are reacting with excitement to reports linking their side with the Ajax right-back Noussair Mazraoui.
According to AS Roma Live, Tottenham are one of the clubs – alongside the Italians, Leicester City and Valencia – who are monitoring Mazraoui.
The Dutch-born Morocco international was a regular in the Ajax side that won the double and reached the Champions League semi-finals – where they were beaten by Spurs – last season.
But he has found his opportunities limited by the emergence of Sergiño Dest this campaign and it is suggested that a January move could be on the cards.
Tottenham have encountered problems in Mazraoui’s position – in particular – having sold Kieran Trippier to Atletico Madrid in the summer.
