The Tottenham Hotspur play-maker is allegedly attracting attention from Chelsea.
Tottenham ace Christian Eriksen has been linked with a shock move to Chelsea, according to Spanish media outlet AS, and some Spurs fans took to Twitter in reaction to the speculation.
The 26-year-old joined Tottenham from Ajax in the summer of 2013, for around £12.5 million, and he is well on his way to establishing himself as a club legend.
In order to do that, however, he will obviously have to stay at White Hart Lane.
Eriksen has chalked up an impressive 62 goals and 78 assists in 253 appearances in all competitions for Spurs, and he is one of Mauricio Pochettino’s most important players.
AS claims that if the Dane fails to sign new contract with Tottenham, he could be available for around £79 million, with Chelsea closely monitoring his situation.
With Daniel Levy running the ship at Spurs, however, Eriksen swapping north London for west London seems nothing more than a far-fetched fantasy.
