Tottenham Hotspur outcast Georges-Kevin N’Koudou’s agent has told Football London that his client is keen on remaining in north London with Spurs despite struggling to earn game time – and some fans are shocked on Twitter.

Football London claim a handful of English clubs are showing interest in the 23-year-old Frenchman, who has managed just 23 appearances for Spurs since joining Mauricio Pochettino’s side in the summer of 2016.

It saw N’Koudou join Premier League side Burnley on loan for the second half of the 2017-18 campaign, but he struggled to make a huge impact, donning the Clarets shirt just eight times.

N’Koudou’s agent Meissa N’Diaye has told Football.London that he wants to stay at Spurs, despite his lack of game time: “Pre-season is going very well for him back at Tottenham. He is not thinking about elsewhere. He’s focused on Tottenham and hopefully he will be going on the tour to the USA this month.”

“He did well on loan at Burnley and showed what he can do in the Premier League. He’s looking forward to next season.”

Spurs boast plenty of options out wide ahead of N’Koudou in the pecking order, including Lucas Moura, Son Heung-min, Moussa Sissoko, Erik Lamela and Christian Eriksen.

Some Spurs fans reacted to N’Diaye’s comments about N’Koudou’s future, with many urging their club to sell him despite the France youth international’s desire to stay.
