Some Tottenham fans react to Milan Skriniar’s performance for Inter last night

Tottenham Hotspur fans have praised the performance of Milan Skriniar for Inter Milan last night.

Inter ran out 5-2 winners over Beneveto yesterday, with Skriniar brought back into the Italian side’s starting line-up, despite the speculation linking him with a move to Tottenham.

Spurs are known to have met with Inter officials over signing the centre-back recently (Di Marzio).

But the fact that Skriniar started last night may suggest that any deal isn’t particularly close.

That could be a disappointment to Spurs fans, who are hoping to see Skrniar join.

And his display last night showed many Tottenham supporters why they are so keen on taking the Slovakian international.

If Skriniar was to arrive at Tottenham he could help to complete Jose Mourinho’s squad.

Spurs have already had a productive summer, but seem to be looking to sign another central defender and a striker before deadline day.
