Mauricio Pochettino has admitted that Tottenham Hotspur may decide to ignore the calls of fans and go through the entire transfer window without signing a single player – and Spurs supporters are fuming on Twitter.

The club are yet to make a signing this summer despite being linked with a whole host of European stars throughout the transfer window, most notably Borussia Dortmund’s Christian Pulisic and Ajax’s Matthijs de Ligt.

However, Pochettino is yet to make a signing despite doubts over the futures of defenders Toby Alderweireld and Danny Rose, as well as powerhouse midfielder Mousa Dembele.

Speaking ahead of the pre-season friendly against AC Milan in Minneapolis, Pochettino hinted that the club may decide not to make a signing this summer, as quoted by Football London.

“Last season I told you some numbers, but this season we don’t know. I don’t know if we are going to sign or not. We’re working on that. I cannot tell you if we’re going to sign one, zero or two or three or four,” Pochettino said.
