According to a report from The Guardian, Tottenham are in talks with Inter Milan over the sale of Tanguy Ndombele.
The club-record £53.8 million signing from Lyon has only been at the club for a year. But problems in his relationship with Spurs boss Jose Mourinho have reportedly brought an end to his Tottenham career.
The report claims that Tottenham have informed the Nerazzuri that they would accept a £45 million bid for Ndombele; a loss on what they paid for him 12 months ago.
Inter are unlikely to pay that much for the Frenchman but are enquiring about the possibility of offering a player in exchange.
Long-term Mourinho target Ivan Perisic could be one of them, while fellow Inter Milan stars Marcelo Brozovic and Milan Skriniar are also being considered in a potential swap deal.
The report claims that Mourinho views Skriniar as an ideal replacement for Jan Vertonghen, who has left the club as a free agent. The Slovakian, like Perisic, is someone Mourinho wanted at Manchester United but a deal didn’t materialise.

The Spurs boss can finally get one of his former targets but is it really worth it, considering that a hugely talented player like Ndombele will be leaving the club? Tottenham supporters don’t think so.
