Tottenham star Son has been included in South Korea’s squad.

Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-min has been included in South Korea’s 23-man squad to take part at the Asian games this summer in Jakarta, which will see him miss the start of the season – and some Spurs fans are livid.
The 26-year-old has already been afforded an extended break by Spurs after participating at the World Cup as captain of South Korea, where he scored two goals against Mexico and Germany.
He scored the goal that sent Germany packing in the group stage, as the Spurs man and the rest of the South Korea squad earned a superb 2-0 win over the 2014 champions.
The Korea Herald reported that Son had been included by his country ahead of the games, which begin a week after the beginning of the Premier League season.

Spurs begin their campaign away to Newcastle United on August 11, before the Asian games start on August 18. But it is unlikely Son will be even available for the trip to Tyneside, with the star expected to be in training with his country.
The Asian Games finally end on September 2, which means Son will miss four Premier League games against Newcastle, Fulham, Manchester United and Watford, before the September international break kicks in.
Some Tottenham fans reacted to the news, with the majority of the north London fanbase fuming that Son has been allowed to play in the tournament instead of being with Spurs this summer.
