Tottenham are said to have made an offer for the Croatian powerhouse.

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly made a £15.9million offer to sign Croatia’s World Cup star Domagoj Vida this summer from Turkish giants Besiktas – but some Spurs fans are not particularly impressed.
A Spor claimed on Monday that Tottenham are interested in the 29-year-old powerhouse following an array of exceptional performances for his country this summer, leading them to a World Cup semi-final.
The former Dynamo Kiev defender has featured in four of Spurs’ five World Cup matches, being rested against Iceland in his country’s final group game and even scoring in Croatia’s quarter-final win over hosts Russia.
The report claims Spurs have made an offer for the defender, who only joined Besiktas on a free transfer back in January and has since made 18 appearances alongside the likes of Portugal defender Pepe.

Mauricio Pochettino is likely to be after a new central defender this summer, with Toby Alderweireld’s future at the club remaining a huge doubt as the two parties differ over terms on a new contract. A year remains on his current deal.
Despite the need for a new defender, the majority of Spurs fans were not impressed by the recent news that sees Spurs linked with a move to sign Vida. One fan responded by Tweeting: “[Vlad] Chiriches 2.0?”
