England and Tottenham’s Harry Kane will go up against Croatia and Liverpool’s Dejan Lovren.

England’s Harry Kane will face a familiar opponent in the World Cup semi-final when the Three Lions face Croatia.
Kane will go up against Dejan Lovren, who he embarrassed at Wembley last season when Tottenham played Liverpool.
The Tottenham striker ran the Liverpool defender ragged, so much so that he was substituted after half an hour.
It was an embarrassing moment for Lovren, one which threatened to ruin his season.

It is to Lovren’s credit that he managed to bounce back, and restore his reputation.
Lovren helped Liverpool reach the Champions League final and now Croatia are in to semi-final of the World Cup. Can that just be coincidence?

All his hard work getting back on track could be undone if Kane embarrasses him again on Wednesday night, and the Spurs striker will take heart from his performance at Wembley last year.
Lovren has a point to prove, but a number of Tottenham fanas are already writing off his chances…
