Glenn Hoddle has labelled Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele as ‘very unusual’, whilst speaking to talkSPORT.
The Spurs legend shared that the 24-year-old is ‘some talent’ after he wowed the supporters during their win against Sheffield United over the weekend.
Ndombele lobbed goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale from a difficult angle to score one of the goals of the season and ensure Tottenham returned to winning ways.
During his playing days, Hoddle scored some spectacular goals himself, as he perfectly summed up the type of player Ndombele has become in North London.
“Ndombele, I tell you what I have seen him a lot now and you don’t know what you are going to get from him,” said Hoddle.
“But I tell you what. He has got some talent. He really has got talent, the boy. He can do some very unusual things on the pitch.
“Sometimes it doesn’t come off. But my word, what a goal that was [against Sheffield United].”

Many months ago, Daniel Levy would have been sweating because his record signing was turning out to be a potential disaster.
But mixed with some harsh words and tough love from Jose Mourinho, added with his own hard work, Ndombele is now one of the best midfielders in the country.
The Frenchman has built a strong partnership with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in the middle of the park, as the duo compliment each other’s game.
