The former Swansea City midfielder is being linked with a move to Sheffield United.

Some Swansea City fans are warning Sheffield United over Leroy Fer.
The Sheffield United manager, Chris Wilder, wants to fly in the former Swansea for talks over a free transfer move to Bramall Lane, according to the Sun.
The newspaper claims the Blades have already approached Fer, who is back in his native Netherlands discussing a move to Feyenoord.
And the 29-year-old is said to have visited Feyenoord’s ground over the weekend to ‘sort out final details’ ahead of a return to his first club.

But if he is to join Sheffield United it would be, for most of the following Swansea supporters, at the Blades’ own risk, with Fer having suffered relegations at Norwich City, Queens Park Rangers and the Swans.
This is what they’re saying on Twitter…
Sheffield United are reported to be closing in on a deal to sign the Nottingham Forest midfielder, Ben Osborn (the Post), and Fer would further strengthen Wilder’s options in the centre of the park.
The Blades, who released Paul Coutts at the end of last season, only have Oliver Norwood, John Fleck and John Lundstram left as specialist central midfield options at first-team level.
Fer’s former Swansea teammate, Oli McBurnie, has also been linked with a move to Sheffield United.
