The Sunderland captain is a rumoured January target for Sheffield United.

Sunderland supporters are reacting to reports linking captain George Honeyman with a move to Sheffield United.
The Sun claims the Blades are looking at Honeyman ahead of the January transfer window, in which manager Chris Wilder is said to be keen to strengthen as he ties to avoid a repeat of last season’s post-Christmas fade away.
Honeyman, a rumoured target for United’s rivals Sheffield Wednesday in the summer transfer window, has scored or assisted five goals in 14 League One matches this season, helping Sunderland to second in the standings.
But would selling the 24-year-old to Sheffield United be as bad as it seems?
The following Sunderland fans don’t think so…
Whereas others can’t see him leaving…
The Sunderland academy product is out of contract at the end of the campaign and, according to the Sun, would fit within Sheffield United’s modest wage structure.
The Blades are currently third in the Championship, and the prospect of a return to the Premier League could convince Honeyman to call time on his Stadium of Light career.
