The Stoke City boss, Nathan Jones, should be familiar to most of a Sunderland or Portsmouth persuasion.

Some Sunderland and Portsmouth fans are urging their sides to take advantage of Nathan Jones’s precarious situation at Stoke City.
Jones appeared resigned to losing his job after Stoke lost 1-0 at home to their fellow strugglers, Huddersfield Town on Tuesday.
Both Sunderland and Portsmouth have managers already, although there are large sections of each club’s support base that would rather have alternative ones in charge.
And this is what they are saying on Twitter, as the speculation surrounding Jones’s future hots up…
Jones led Luton Town to the top of League One, ahead of both Sunderland and Portsmouth, last season, before being lured away by Stoke.
But the Welshman has won just four of his 33 games in charge of the Potters, who sit bottom of the Championship. and six points adrift of safety.

Sunderland and Portsmouth were among the pre-season favourites for promotion to the second tier, but while Jack Ross’s Mackems are fifth in the standings, Kenny Jackett’s Pompey have struggled and currently sit 19th.
Would the Stoke City manager be a good appointment for Sunderland or Portsmouth?
