Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media think that Ryan Mason has already started playing mind games with Pep Guardiola after his update on Harry Kane’s fitness.

The 29-year-old may be the youngest manager ever in the Premier League, but Spurs fans think he’s showing a maturity beyond his years.

Indeed, Mason claimed that he was unsure whether or not Kane would be fit for the Carabao Cup final, which is a classic way to play mind games ahead of a big game.

This will undoubtedly cause City to alter their preparations for this match, and that could swing things in Spurs’ favour.

Of course, Mason could have just been answering the question that was put to him and the idea of him playing mind games may have been a bit overblown.

Time will only tell whether or not Kane can play in the Carabao Cup final and if these comments were a case of mind games or not.

Here’s what Spurs supporters have been saying on social media about Ryan Mason’s comments…
