Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter have responded to Bukayo Saka’s post-match tweet after Arsenal’s win last night.

The Gunners stopped the rot by beating Chelsea 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium.

In doing so, it was Arsenal’s first Premier League win since beating Manchester United on November 1 – and some Tottenham fans were very impressed by the 19-year-old’s display last night.

Saka picked up a Man of the Match award for his all-round performance, but also scored the goal that effectively secured the points for Mikel Arteta’s side, making it 3-0 midway through the second half.

It looked like the Hale End academy product had originally intended to cross the ball, which wound up floating into the top corner.

And the Arsenal gem has posted a tongue-in-cheek tweet after the game – and here’s how Spurs supporters responded to him:

If we’re honest, Saka deserved a performance like this, even if there was an element of good fortune about his goal, because he’s been their most consistent player in recent months.

The fact you could take away his goal and he’d still win Man of the Match was testament to his overall display and you can’t blame Tottenham supporters for fawning over him.

That’s because it’s clear that Arsenal have a diamond on their hands.
