Giovani Lo Celso might be returning to Tottenham Hotspur training, if his latest hint on Instagram is anything to go by.
The Argentine midfielder has been out of action since the 2-0 defeat by Leicester City back on December 20.
Injury has curtailed so much of Lo Celso’s 18-month stint as a Tottenham player, but it looks like he might just be fit again.
The former Real Betis star, who joined the Lilywhites on loan under Mauricio Pochettino before sealing a £27 million permanent move 12 months ago, has posted a short video on Instagram of him wearing boots, perhaps suggesting a return to training at Hotspur Way.
Clearly tomorrow’s visit of Liverpool comes way too soon, but it does seem like he’s firmly on the comeback trail.
But Tottenham fans have offered a very mixed reaction to the hint. Here’s what they’re saying:
This is good news for Jose Mourinho.
Sometimes there are games which even Harry Kane and Son Heung-min cannot unlock, like the 1-1 draw with Fulham earlier this month for example, and on occasions like this, a player like Lo Celso certainly does come in very handy.
